Show your website visitors live
Caldera can show visitors to your websites live on your GitHub city: add one script tag to each site and every arrival parachutes into that project's district as it happens, with celebrations for signups and sales. Departed visitors leave fading ghosts, and the city shows today's site visits.

Set it up
- Open Settings (or the plugin's Live traffic on your city).
- Copy the snippet for the district that matches your site.
- Paste it into your site's shared layout, just before
</body>. - Open your city and visit your site: you will see yourself land.
What is collected
Page views, signups and sales per site, with a visitor id made from a salted hash that changes daily, so visitors cannot be tracked across days. Live-visitor events are deleted after 35 days. Detailed numbers are shown only to you; the public sees activity levels.
Why it is fun and useful
Launch days become something you can watch. Pop the city out into a small window and keep it on screen; signups and sales get their own celebrations.
