Show your GitHub stats on a portfolio
The GitHub stats that help a portfolio are the ones that point to real work: active repos, commits this year, languages and what you shipped recently. Caldera turns those into a page and a city that update themselves, so your portfolio links to something current instead of a screenshot.

What to include
- Commits in the last year and how many repos they went into.
- Your top languages.
- Which projects are active this week.
- Links to the repos and live products behind the numbers.
What Caldera builds for you
Sign up with GitHub and your page shows a Code section (commits, repos, languages and a weekly bar chart), your projects with links, a scoreboard and your city. Visitors see public work by name; private repos you add appear without names. Embed a badge on your own site with caldera.social/@you/badge.svg.
Steps
- Sign up with GitHub.
- Edit your headline and links in Settings.
- Link caldera.social/@you from your portfolio, or add the badge.
Questions
Do stats impress hiring managers?
Stats alone rarely do; stats that link to real, current work help.
Will private client work show?
Only if you add it, and only as padlocked buildings with no names, or not at all.
Can I preview before signing up?
Yes: caldera.social/gh/<username>.
Is it free?
Yes.
