An AI developer community built on real work
Caldera is a community for people who build with AI tools, where profiles come from real work instead of bios. Members' pages show their GitHub city, AI usage and live coding agents; the Feed routes "I need..." and "I recommend..." posts to the members they fit; and people follow and message each other directly.

What makes it different
- Proof over claims. Commits, projects and AI usage come from GitHub and your own machine.
- Matching, not a timeline. Posts reach the members whose tags match.
- Live. See who is building right now on the World map.
- Groups. Start a town of cities for your team or cohort at caldera.social/g/name.
Join in three steps
- Sign up with GitHub.
- Follow a few people from People.
- Post what you need or recommend on the Feed.
Show your AI stack
With the Obsidian plugin, your page can show tokens by model and provider from Claude Code and Codex logs, and a hook shows your agents as drones over your repos. See Show your AI token usage and Visualize AI coding agents.
