Follow developers and see what they build
On Caldera you follow a developer with one tap on their page. If they follow you back you become friends, which unlocks encrypted note sharing for Obsidian members. Every page shows friends, followers and following counts, and new followers get an alert and a line in their daily email.

How following works
- + Follow on anyone's page. The button then reads Following; tap it twice to unfollow.
- If they already follow you, the button says Follow back, and following back makes you friends at once.
- Counts under the name: friends, followers, following.
- People who share public GitHub repos with you can be connected automatically (you can turn that off).
Where to find people to follow
- People, searchable by what they build.
- The World map of every city.
- The Feed: new members, new cities and posts.
What friends get
Friends can message without a request, appear on each other's leaderboard, and (with Obsidian) share notes as end-to-end encrypted cards that land in the other vault.
